When you deal with a power outage in the winter remember these tips!
- If you use a Generator never keep it indoors! Having a running Generator indoors can be fatal.
- If you have Cell Phone make sure you preserve your battery for emergencies, if you know there is risk of losing power charge your phone until battery is full.
- If you use a Kerosene heater never leave it unattended.
- Gather up all blankets around the house and have everybody in the same room.
- Make sure you have liquids and food that can be at any temperature.
- Make sure you have some source of light, flashlights, lanterns, candles...
